"agreed - also great incentive for high school students to have delivered in schools then may opt to do cert III upon leaving school, this targets the youth acquiring knowledge for future family aswell as career options. "

"As family Day Care educators are only required to have a certificate III - they are solely responsible for the curriculum they implement and reflect on. The only support they receive is from the co-ordinator. There is a huge gap in knowledge for a Cert III to run an entire program based on a lack of developmental knowledge."
CHCCEC002 Source and review information on childhood learning, development and play Draft 1 February 2019
"Hopefully this element goes into the areas of development at a reasonably deep level. Certificate III educators are programming setting up experiences. They need to have a deeper understanding of development to do so and to respond appropriately and positively to children that supports the children's learning in action."

"I would also like to see some crossover units from the Cert 2 to the cert 3 as an incentive for students to use it as a pathway. WHS001 is already there but I would also suggest the legal and ethical unit. I also agree that students should be a minimum of 16 years old."
Karen Stackpole 28.03.2019
"There needs to be more time spent actually working in a setting where new knowledge can be gained and practiced. Suggest a minimum of 50 days. Days should reflect the working day, not the school day."
