CHCSS00070 Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set - Going / Gone?

"We have assumed that the current skill set on assisting clients with medications is going / will be gone in the new TP release. Can you please confirm as this was not explicitly stated in any of the draft 2 papers...? Many thanks."

Inclusion of the CHCCCS036 Support relationships with carers and family

"We don't feel this unit fits in with a palliative care skill set as it goes outside the job role / scope of a Care Worker / Support Worker role. Whilst supporting families and carers is important, direct care workers may not be in a position to undertake those tasks as expressed in that unit in the ways described (outside scope of role). This skill set may risk not being used in residential care settings if this unit remains in the skill set packaging."

Palliative Approach skill set

"The Palliative Care Skill Set comprises 4 units. The unit CHCCCS038 should be removed. 3 units is sufficient for a skill set."
