The SAC Draft 2 material is now available for public consultation. These Training Package Products have been updated based on feedback received during the Draft 1 consultation period from November 2017-March 2018.
At this stage, we have had limited feedback in regard to these qualifications and units, so the changes made have been minimal.
We encourage those people who are active in the School-Age Care sector to review the Draft 2 Material and provide comment and feedback to guide the final draft.

The national consultation process for Draft 2 material will be open from 30 November 2018 – 9 September 2019. Throughout this period SkillsIQ will be undertaking a number of key activities to engage industry stakeholders and VET professionals. These will include consultation forums, webinars, and opportunities to give feedback via the SkillsIQ Online Feedback Forum.

"I agree with Nicola and Joanne. 'Direct Observation' needs to be replaced with 'Direct Evidence.' It is not possible to visually observe every student doing these tasks in a workplace. Evidence should be able to be collected to support this. The quote taken from the ASQA's Fact sheet supports this."
